About Us

The Hollyburn Heritage Society was formed in 1998 with two main goals in mind:

1. To restore Hollyburn Ski Lodge for future generations to enjoy, and

2. To collect, assemble, catalogue and share the history of Vancouver's North Shore mountains; in particular, Hollyburn, Black, and Strachan.

Donations
Hollyburn Heritage Society (HHS) is a Canada Revenue Agency registered non-profit charitable society. We welcome financial donations for which you will receive an income tax deduction receipt. Your donations support HHS projects that advance the Society's mandate. There are two ways to make a donation:

Donation On-line via CanadaHelps.org
You can donate on-line at CanadaHelps.org and receive an electronic tax receipt (PDF file) immediately. Just go to CanadaHelps.org and search for Hollyburn Heritage Society or click on the following link: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/hollyburn-heritage-society/. Note, CanadaHelps.org does keep a small portion of about 2% for credit card processing and handling.

Donation by Cheque
If you prefer to mail a donation by cheque, please contact us using the Contact Us form on this page. All your donation will go to helping our Society and we will mail you an income tax receipt.

Membership
HHS membership is by way of financial donation, volunteer time or historical items (photographs, articles, etc.). Donations of $25 or more will automatically enroll you as a member in HHS. If you would like to join and contribute, please use the Contact Us on this page.
