”Mountain Musings” features videos & photos taken in the Yew Lake watershed set to "Bridget" performed by the Geoff Claridge Quartet. Geoff Claridge is a Vancouver-born clarinetist and saxophonist currently studying in the University of Toronto Jazz Masters program. He was first introduced to the music of Benny Goodman through the late ’90s Chips Ahoy! commercial which featured Sing, Sing, Sing!, and his appreciation for jazz in all its forms slowly blossomed. Since then he has studied with Caroline Gauthier, Tom Colclough, Campbell Ryga, Steve Kaldestad, Mike Allen, Chad Makela, Chuck Currie, Kelly Jefferson and Eddie Daniels, and his music has taken him to over thirty countries spanning five continents. Benny Goodman is still his favourite performer, and he aims to convey a great deal of subject matter through both his playing and his compositions across a myriad of styles. Yew Lake Autumn 2013 (Video)

OCTOBER 24th, 2013 - In late October, while much of Vancouver was blanketed by fog, the sun shone on the North Shore mountains. So it was somewhat surprising that virtually nobody was on the Yew Lake Trail when the scenes in "Yew Lake Autumn - October 2013" were recorded. The occasional sound of running water is heard, but for the most part, silence prevails. Take time to look for things you might miss at first glance.
