Norm Deacon's Home Movies - "Westlake Lodge Summer c. 1960"

The video begins with an epic water fight at West lake Lodge during a cold, foggy spring day. Following this are brief scenes of Hollyburn cabins & then a panning shot of the terrain around Westlake Lodge. "Let's Go Swimming" includes several summer scenes of swimmers & rafters at Blue Gentian Lake. Testing a portable water pump is featured in "Will the Pump Pump?" (The pump was tested to prepare for a possible forest fire.) Bringing in the winter wood supply includes scenes of Norm Deacon's John Deere tractor, young men splitting wood & loggers felling trees. The video concludes with another panning shot around Westlake Lodge & scenes of West Lake in the autumn.
